Our aim
Emilo QR aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 AA principles and to provide an accessible experience. This is a statement of intent and implemented features, not a formal certification or a claim of full WCAG compliance.
Using the interface
The interface uses native buttons, labeled inputs, selects, sliders and switches. QR types and design options expose selected states. Keyboard users can use Tab and Shift+Tab to navigate, Enter or Space to activate buttons, and arrow keys, Home and End within design tabs. A skip link leads to the main content, and focus indicators identify the active control. Dialogs support Escape and return focus to their opener.
Reading and feedback
Pages use headings and main, navigation and footer landmarks. Form hints and validation messages are connected to relevant controls; status messages announce actions without announcing every preview change. Decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology and meaningful images have alternative text. Interface text uses contrasting colors, and selection is also indicated by borders, marks or control states.
Display preferences and limitations
Layouts adapt to small screens and zoom, and animations are reduced when your operating system requests reduced motion. The site currently uses a light color theme regardless of OS theme. You control the colors and imagery within your QR designs, so those designs may not meet contrast or scanning needs; test them before distribution. A QR image alone does not communicate its destination to every user: provide a readable link or other alternative when publishing it. Shared content and third-party destinations may have their own accessibility limitations.
